NJ Statewide Connecting With the Community Reinvestment Act Conference

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation invite you to attend a conference that will bring together regulators, financial institutions, nonprofits and public agencies within New Jersey for a day-long discussion on community economic development and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by the formal program from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served.

The conference will include:

  • A presentation on the current Economic Outlook for New Jersey.
  • A moderated panel discussion about the current state of community economic development in New Jersey, including affordable housing, small business, community services and community revitalization.
  • Training on the role of CRA in low-to-moderate income communities and guidance on how financial institutions and nonprofit organizations can leverage the Act to address community needs.
  • Small group discussions on affordable housing, small business, community services and community revitalization to identify best practices in New Jersey.
